Operational coverage centered on retail business functions such as merchandising, supply chain execution, store operations and finance, with technical ownership remaining with the Information Management team. Governance was exercised through the Teamlead Information Management who managed day to day operations, project prioritization and information architecture, and contributed to ICT policy and the annual planning cycle as a member of the ICT management team. Projects were scoped to fit the approved year plan and budget, and rollout sequencing and external consultant engagement were governed through those project plans.
