In 2017 The Body Shop deployed Tamigo Time and Attendance across its UK retail estate, using the Time and Attendance application to capture store rotas and workforce time data for payroll processing. Payroll administrators processed a monthly payroll for different business areas using data from Tamigo and Clockwise, reconciling timesheets, change reports, and statutory deductions.
Governance and operational processes were formalized around payroll and HR handoffs, with payroll administrators handling starters, leavers, contract changes, statutory payment and deduction processing, distribution of payslips and P45s, and responding to pay queries by phone and email. The implementation emphasized routine month end gross to net checks, coordination with HR advisors on absence and policy, and maintaining joint employee records for payroll accuracy.
