In 2015, iTrip Online implemented Traacs ERP as a Travel Agency ERP to centralize mid office and back office operations for its hotel B2B platform. The implementation addressed high volumes of sales, billing, collections, supplier payments and complex reconciliation requirements for the Saudi Arabia based subsidiary of FLT. The deployment targeted automated order to cash workflows and financial controls across the companys mid office and back office functions.
Traacs ERP was configured to provide automated billing and real time invoicing, including automatic invoice generation and emailed delivery when customer email credentials are present. The solution included integrated credit control logic for instant credit limit checks to surface credit exceptions prior to booking, automated supplier reconciliation and supplier payback commission reconciliation and settlement. The technical integration pattern used an API integration with iTrips hotel B2B platforms, where an interface script periodically scans the B2B API for new vouchers, validates and populates voucher records into Traacs ERP, and triggers downstream invoicing and reconciliation processes.
Operationally the Traacs ERP rollout covered all iTrip hotel B2B platforms and materially impacted finance, revenue accounting, collections and supplier operations. Governance shifted toward real time controls, automated invoice distribution and mechanized supplier settlement, enabling a secondary channel for work throughput and more efficient manpower utilization.
