The implementation aligned OBIEE platform upgrades and Oracle Business Intelligence Applications modernization to establish a unified analytical environment supporting corporate reporting and ETL orchestration. The project encompassed Oracle Business Intelligence Application modules for Procurement, Finance, Enterprise Asset Management and Manufacturing, with bespoke OBIA customizations to support Procurement Product Classifications. The BI Architect performed BI Administrator duties across OBIEE 10g, 11g and 12c, developed OBIA content for Spend and Procurement, Finance, EAM and MFG, and managed RPD versioning, BI Publisher reports and Agents, and KPI dashboard design. Integration and architectural components included Informatica administration and workflow development on V8.1.6 and 9.0.1, implementation of OBIEE 11.1.1.6.8, Informatica 9.0.1, DAC 11g, OBIA 11.1.10.2 and ODI 11.1.1.9 to support a redesigned global OBIA platform. The team administered ETL troubleshooting for Informatica and ODI, managed DAC orchestration, and executed Critical Patch updates, while a proof of concept mirrored the on premise OBIEE 12c environment into Oracle Analytics Cloud and involved uploading and enhancing the RPD in the Cloud environment, user management and cloud performance monitoring. Operational coverage included support and platform administration for North America and China users, and custom OBIEE support for European and Asia sales data warehouses. Day to day responsibilities addressed end user technical issues, enhancements, performance tuning, training, feature integration, Oracle Service request handling, resolution and documentation across finance, procurement and asset management business functions. Governance workstream activities documented change requests, extensions and RPD versioning, and established processes for Informatica, DAC and ODI ETL change management and troubleshooting. The BI Architect also led documentation of BI publisher reports and agents, managed change control and championed increased user acceptance and adoption of the Oracle Business Intelligence platform. | |
