Liven | Professional Services | 250 | $25M | Australia | Rippling | Rippling Global Workforce Management | Workforce Management | 2025 | n/a | In 2025, Liven implemented Rippling Global Workforce Management to centralize multi jurisdictional HR and payroll operations across its hospitality and technology business. The deployment addressed acute payroll compliance and timeliness challenges in markets including the US, Australia, and Southeast Asia, using the Workforce Management platform to unify operational control under People and Culture and payroll functions. The implementation explicitly targeted consistent employee experiences and operational consistency across a globally dispersed workforce. Rippling Global Workforce Management was configured to deliver unified payroll processing, centralized employee records, automated compliance controls, performance review workflows, and development plan capabilities. Functional modules implemented included multinational payroll processing and tax compliance workflows, a central HR information system for employee lifecycle management, and performance management tools to capture self reviews and development plans. Automation was applied to payroll runs and compliance checks to reduce manual reconciliation and administrative overhead. The project consolidated previously disparate HR systems into a single platform, reducing administrative fragmentation across country specific tools. The deployment covered payroll and HR operations for more than ten countries, with operational ownership in People and Culture and payroll teams to maintain centralized employee records and compliance workflows. Centralized data flows were established to support consistent workforce administration and reporting across regions. Governance changes included centralization of HR data governance and standardized compliance workflows to ensure consistent payroll controls across jurisdictions. Operational workflow restructuring allowed People and Culture to reallocate resources away from manual payroll administration toward strategic P and C initiatives, and standardized review templates plus automated reminders increased performance management adoption. These governance and process changes created repeatable HR operations that support scaling activity as the company enters new markets. Liven reduced payroll personnel effort from 3 FTEs to 0.5 FTE following the Rippling Global Workforce Management deployment, and cut HR tech stack costs by over 50 percent. Performance review completion rose to 94 percent from 85 percent, enabling more consistent development planning and personalized employee experiences across markets. The solution improved Liven’s ability to deliver accurate and timely payroll while supporting scalable global expansion and centralized HR governance.

Cortical Labs | Professional Services | 22 | $3M | Australia | Rippling | Rippling Global Workforce Management | Workforce Management | 2024 | n/a | In 2024, Cortical Labs implemented Rippling Global Workforce Management. The deployment positioned Rippling Global Workforce Management as the companys Workforce Management platform to consolidate HR and payroll for a 22 employee professional services firm headquartered in Australia, addressing payroll errors and inefficient HR workflows that affected an internationally distributed workforce. The implementation centralized recruiting, onboarding, payroll, expense management, and performance review capabilities into a single application, replacing three separate recruiting, onboarding and payroll systems with one unified platform. Rippling Global Workforce Management was configured with guided onboarding and an intuitive user interface to minimize training, and automation features were applied to recurring payroll processing and routine HR tasks to reduce manual synchronisation failures. Operational coverage extended across HR and payroll functions, expense administration, talent acquisition workflows, and performance management, supporting both the Australia headquarters and remote employees in other markets as Cortical Labs pursued expansion. The deployment created a central repository for employee data and transactional records, simplifying cross-functional workflows between HR and finance without introducing named third party integrations. Governance and process changes emphasized automated payroll orchestration, centralised record keeping for performance and expense workflows, and a guided rollout to limit administrative disruption. As stated by Cortical Labs, the outcome included improved payroll accuracy, reduced administrative burden, increased HR efficiency, and stronger support for scaling into new markets while maintaining employee satisfaction and compliance.
