Rise Australia Non Profit 350 $25M Australia ActionHRM ActionHRM Time and Attendance Time and Attendance 2020 n/a In 2020, Rise Australia implemented ActionHRM Time and Attendance to centralize staff time capture and leave management across its Australian NDIS and aged care operations, deploying the ActionHRM Time and Attendance application as a core element of its workforce systems. The implementation was positioned within a broader IT strategy that connected scheduling, payroll, and award interpretation technologies to create end-to-end time and pay workflows, with Time and Attendance serving as the staff management and leave engine. The deployment focused on time capture, leave administration, and role-based access for managers and payroll administrators, configured to support award interpretation routines described in the organization case study. ActionHRM Time and Attendance was used to standardize time and leave processes and to feed consistent time data into downstream payroll and finance processes, reflecting typical Time and Attendance functional workflows such as timesheet approval, leave accruals, and exception handling. Integrations were implemented with Procura for rostering and scheduling, Microsoft Dynamics 365 for finance interfaces, and Bio-Time for award interpretation and payroll/time rules, enabling a coordinated flow of shift and time data across systems. The integration architecture emphasized batch and transactional exchanges of validated time and leave records between ActionHRM Time and Attendance and the scheduling, payroll, and finance systems to reduce manual reconciliation and maintain compliance with sector-specific award rules. Governance and rollout governance aligned IT, HR, and payroll stakeholders to new operational workflows for roster-to-pay processes, with configuration ownership retained by HR and technical interfaces managed by the IT team. The program emphasized standardized configuration of time and leave rules inside ActionHRM Time and Attendance and orchestrated integration touchpoints to Procura, Dynamics 365, and Bio-Time to ensure consistent processing across NDIS and aged care business functions.

The implementation integrated HR data flows with rostering and payroll to synchronize employee records, leave balances and roster assignments, reducing manual reconciliation between HR, workforce scheduling and payroll functions. Operational coverage included HR, frontline support teams and payroll operations within Rise Australia’s WA service footprint. Governance was adjusted to centralize HR process ownership and align training assignment and completion status with rostering rules, with rollout executed across WA services under HR and operational leadership. The program is positioned to improve responsiveness across WA services through integrated HR, rostering and payroll information, aligned with the ActionHRM Training and Development deployment.
