Systems integration was a primary design requirement, Vertex Tax was integrated with SAP for financial posting and reporting, with Manhattan and JDA for inventory and order orchestration, and the program ran alongside Lucernex for lease accounting and SAP FMS activities. The implementation served Europe, Asia Pacific and Japan scope activities while also supporting stabilization work for North America and Hong Kong financial systems, reflecting an international operational coverage. Governance was led by the Finance Global Business Process Owner and coordinated through the PMO, project teams and IT, with explicit attention to SAP security and segregation of duties requirements. Rollout decisions aligned tax orchestration in Vertex Tax with existing wholesale, drop ship and new business model integrations, ensuring tax workflows were instrumented into end to end order to cash and statutory reporting processes. | |
