Pentair Manufacturing 11250 $3.8B United Kingdom RateLinx RateLinx TracLinx Real-Time Transportation Visibility 2019 n/a In 2019, Pentair implemented RateLinx TracLinx as a global Real-Time Transportation Visibility solution to consolidate logistics data and automate cross-functional workflows. The program began with a search for a new TMS, but evolved into a data-centric implementation that positioned RateLinx TracLinx as the central platform for transportation visibility, freight audit and payment, and shipment-in-transit detail. RateLinx TracLinx was configured to deliver core modules for global transportation management, track and trace, and freight audit and payment, with functionality to surface spend management and live shipment status. The implementation emphasized centralized data consolidation and automated logistics workflows to reduce manual reconciliation across shipment and freight payment processes. The implementation included integrations to automate and synchronize logistics, finance, and supply chain systems and data sources, supporting operations across global logistics and materials teams as well as finance functions responsible for freight settlement. Pentair used RateLinx’s Logistics in 3D collaborative process to align cross-functional stakeholders and to identify efficiency opportunities in data completeness and accuracy. Governance shifted toward a centralized visibility and data model that supports automated freight audit and payment workflows and standardized supply chain reporting. Outcomes cited in the engagement included automated processes, streamlined supply chain operations, consolidated data sources, improved spend management and shipment-in-transit visibility, and an identified opportunity for significant cost reductions through efficiency gains.
