Connecticut Children's Healthcare 1000 $114M United States Oracle Oracle Cloud SCM Supply Chain Management 2024 Alithya In 2024, Connecticut Children's completed the final phase of an Oracle Cloud ERP, SCM, HCM and Payroll implementation, and implemented Oracle Cloud SCM as a core component of that multi-suite deployment. The Oracle Cloud SCM implementation is positioned within the organization to centralize supply chain processes and align procurement and inventory activities with financial and workforce systems. Oracle Cloud SCM was configured to deliver core Supply Chain Management capabilities, including procurement and purchasing workflows, supplier lifecycle and onboarding controls, inventory and materials management, order management, and supply planning and replenishment functions typical of a hospital supply chain. Configuration work focused on purchase-to-pay orchestration, approval workflows, catalog management, and inventory reconciliation to support clinical and nonclinical supply needs. Integrations were executed between Oracle Cloud SCM and the concurrently deployed Oracle Cloud ERP for financial posting and supplier accounting, and Oracle Cloud HCM and Payroll for labor and cost accounting, producing linked procure-to-pay and inventory-to-financial reconciliation processes. The implementation was delivered in partnership with Alithya and Oracle Cloud teams, and covered procurement, materials management, and finance process domains within Connecticut Children's operational footprint. Governance for the rollout was organized through joint program leadership from Connecticut Children's, Alithya, and Oracle Cloud, using phased cutovers and standardized process documentation to drive supplier onboarding governance and inventory control policies. The project concluded with the announced completion of the final phase in 2024, marking the integration of Oracle Cloud SCM into Connecticut Children's broader enterprise systems landscape.
