BMW Financial Services (GB) LTD | Banking and Financial Services | 300 | $100M | United Kingdom | SAP | SAP Cash Management | Treasury Management | 2010 | n/a | In 2010, BMW Financial Services (GB) LTD implemented SAP Cash Management to centralize Treasury Management for finance and treasury operations. The deployment was executed on a global SAP based cash management landscape, consolidating cash visibility and control across the UK entity into the broader group SAP environment. The implementation scope emphasized centralized cash position, intraday liquidity tracking, and standardized bank account management. SAP Cash Management was configured to support core Treasury Management capabilities, including cash position and liquidity management, bank account master data governance, and automated cash reconciliation workflows. Configuration work aligned SAP cash modules with treasury reporting requirements and payment statement processing, and included rule based automation to support forecasting and intra group cash movements. The design preserved SAP native configuration patterns while aligning business processes to treasury operational controls. Project responsibilities included designing business process change and managing the migration of key functions from the UK to Germany, shifting operational ownership and transaction processing into the German SAP center. Operational coverage focused on finance and treasury teams in the UK with centralized governance and role based access controls implemented for the German operational site. Governance deliverables included process standardization, cutover planning for function migration, and oversight of SAP configuration handover to the German operations team. | |
