Express Retail 10500 $1.7B United States Oracle Oracle Retail Invoice Matching (ReIM) Retail Management 2014 n/a In 2014, Express implemented Oracle Retail Invoice Matching (ReIM) within its Retail Management application footprint. The deployment was managed through the Manager, IT Applications role, which oversees applications, systems analysis, application development, implementation and a team of project managers, technical consultants, programmer/developers and outside consultants. Oracle Retail Invoice Matching (ReIM) was configured to handle invoice-to-order and invoice-to-receipt matching, rule-based tolerance processing, exception routing and audit-oriented reporting. Configuration emphasis included matching rules, tolerance matrices and Business Intelligence Publisher driven reports to support exception resolution and audit trails, reflecting capabilities typical of Retail Management invoice reconciliation workflows. The ReIM implementation was integrated with Oracle Retail Merchandise System RMS, Retail Sales Audit ReSA, Retail Price Management RPM and Business Intelligence Publisher BIP to align invoice validation with merchandise receipts, price records and sales audit data. Operational scope targeted merchandise operations and finance workflows, with the Manager, IT Applications coordinating implementation and ongoing support activities across technical and functional teams. Governance established centralized application ownership under the Manager, IT Applications, phased project management by internal project managers and structured handoffs to application support. Process changes focused on formalized exception handling, structured BIP reporting and cross-functional workflows between merchandising and accounting to operationalize Oracle Retail Invoice Matching within Express retail operations.
