Farmatodo Retail 4000 $400M Colombia Oracle Oracle Retail Warehouse Management Warehouse Management 2015 n/a In 2015 Farmatodo implemented Oracle Retail Warehouse Management as a core Warehouse Management application to support inventory and fulfillment across its retail and online operations. The deployment targeted Farmatodo’s footprint of more than 200 stores and online channels in Venezuela and Colombia, and was positioned to accelerate store rollouts and regional expansion while supporting an aggressive Colombia home delivery model. Oracle Retail Warehouse Management was deployed alongside Oracle Retail Merchandising System and Oracle Retail Store Inventory Management to create a unified corporate inventory and merchandising layer. The implementation emphasized real-time inventory visibility and store consistency, enabling warehouse workflows for inventory tracking, order picking and fulfillment that aligned with in-store point of sale operations and fast delivery promises. Operational integration connected Oracle Retail Warehouse Management with Oracle Retail Xstore Point-of-Service at the store level and with corporate merchandising and store inventory systems. The architecture supported centralized inventory control with distributed fulfillment across stores and e-commerce, covering merchandising, store operations, distribution and e-commerce logistics responsibilities. Governance activities focused on reducing technological risk and improving information integrity and business processes, leveraging Oracle best practices and integrated solutions to fast-track a two-country rollout in two years. The implementation delivered the foundational inventory and fulfillment controls required to speed new store deployments, improve in-store shopper service via modern POS integration, and support sub 30 minute home delivery ambitions in congested urban areas.
