Domino Foods Distribution 1200 $700M United States SAP SAP IBP for Sales & Operations planning (S&OP) S&OP 2015 n/a In 2015, Domino Foods implemented SAP IBP for Sales & Operations planning (S&OP). The deployment was undertaken as part of a broader SAP application portfolio at Domino Foods that included BW on HANA, SAP ECC on HANA, SAP S/4HANA Finance optimized for HANA, SAP BusinessObjects Cloud, SAP SuccessFactors and Concur. Domino Foods is a United States distribution company with approximately 1,200 employees and $700,000,000 in revenue, the S&OP implementation targeted end-to-end commercial and supply chain planning processes. SAP IBP for Sales & Operations planning (S&OP) was configured to support demand planning, supply planning, inventory optimization and scenario-based S&OP orchestration, employing integrated business planning workflows, version management and what-if scenario simulation to support monthly S&OP cycles. Configuration work focused on planning data models, KPI modeling, planning heuristics and the orchestration layer required for cross-functional plan harmonization between sales, supply and finance. The IBP deployment was hosted within Domino Foods' hosted, managed data center environment where enterprise SAP systems were already hosted and managed, enabling alignment with BW on HANA as the central analytical store. SAP BusinessObjects Cloud functioned alongside IBP for reporting and visualization, and transactional and financial master data linkages were maintained with SAP ECC on HANA and SAP S/4HANA Finance to support plan reconciliation and integrated financial planning. The technical architecture emphasized co-existence and data harmonization across the SAP stack. Operational scope for the S&OP solution encompassed supply chain planning, commercial sales planning and finance stakeholders across Domino Foods' U.S. operations, with centralized planning governance and an established S&OP cadence for plan review and approvals. The rollout was executed as an application-focused program within the company's SAP landscape, aligning IBP adoption with subsequent SAP analytics rebranding and platform upgrade activities documented in the enterprise roadmap.
