The deployment targeted multi-store franchise operations and company-managed convenience sites, with direct oversight of multiple 711 franchise store managers responsible for both inside merchandise and outside fuel areas of the business. PDI Enterprise for Retailers was configured to support point of sale transaction processing, inventory and merchandising controls, fuel transaction orchestration, and core accounting integration. The implementation emphasized store-level configuration and role-based access for store managers, enabling consistent cashier workflows, merchandise ordering routines, and fuel sales reconciliation aligned with retail management practices. Integrations included on-site POS systems, the Passport fuel management system, and PDI accounting software to unify transaction, fuel pump telemetry, and financial posting streams. Operational coverage focused on convenience store operations, fuel sales management, asset protection and store finance functions across multiple sites, reflecting combined responsibilities for merchandising, fuel operations, and accounting. Governance and process changes centered on standardized asset protection protocols and manager enablement, with detailed asset protection assessments completed at several convenience stores and sweeping safeguards instituted at multiple locations.
