AIT Worldwide Transportation 2700 $2.6B United States WiseTech Global CargoWise Transport Real-Time Transportation Visibility 2017 n/a In 2017, AIT Worldwide deployed CargoWise Transport as its Real-Time Transportation Visibility platform to support air export operational workflows. The implementation centered on operational teams performing air export coordination, booking and dispatch, and shipment lifecycle management, with CargoWise Transport used as the authoritative system for air export processes and real-time event visibility. CargoWise Transport was configured to support core air export modules and functional capabilities including shipment tracking and event visibility, airway bill processing for HAWB and MAWB, AES filing and export compliance document audit, airline bookings and rate review workflows, and invoicing and billing checks. The implementation emphasized document management and data validation rules to enforce high degrees of accuracy for HAWB, MAWB and invoicing processes. Operational coverage focused on air export accounts and cross-functional coordination between customer service, operations and warehouse staff, with CargoWise Transport orchestrating communication channels between customers and vendors and providing status updates throughout the shipment lifecycle. Standard functional terminology used in the deployment included exception handling, status event feeds, master and house airway bill workflows, and shipment-level billing reconciliation within the CargoWise Transport environment. Governance and process controls were embedded in day to day operations, reflecting role level expectations such as evaluation of Air Export Specialist performance for attention to detail and continual improvement. Response and communication SLAs were codified into operational practice, including responding to customer emails within one hour, returning callbacks within one hour, answering destination emails within twelve hours, auditing export compliance data, and coordinating with warehouse staff to close shipments successfully while maintaining the CargoWise Transport driven workflow.
