Federated Insurance Insurance 3000 $850M United States UKG UKG Pro Learning (ex Ultipro Learning) Learning and Development 2014 n/a In 2014, Federated Insurance deployed UKG Pro Learning (ex Ultipro Learning) replacing SAP SuccessFactors Learning to consolidate its enterprise Learning and Development capability. The implementation positioned UKG Pro Learning as the primary Learning and Development platform supporting HR and training functions across the insurer. The deployment focused on centralized learning administration and content management, with UKG Pro Learning configured to ingest both internally developed and vendor eLearning assets. Implementation work included support for eLearning authoring and playback workflows, specifically integrating content produced with TechSmith Camtasia and Articulate 360, and development of courseware using Articulate Storyline and Rise. Operationally the program was managed by an internal Systems Developer III who supported business partner usage of the LMS, managed the conversion from SAP SuccessFactors Learning, and coordinated test engineering activities. The role served as test coordinator for a major software rewrite and test engineer for a proprietary Life application, validating LMS integrations and learner tracking workflows. Governance and rollout included creation of documentation and operational procedures, coordination of software upgrades and installations, and packaging of installation artifacts for deployment. UKG Pro Learning was therefore implemented with structured testing, documentation, and content integration controls to support ongoing LMS operations and learning delivery.
