Microsoft Dynamics AX - Inventory Management Module was configured to align inventory postings with GL and Fixed Assets transactions, and to support review of GST transactions including returns, payments and input tax credit workflows as part of monthly close activities. Operational coverage included monitoring of branch accounts teams and centralized consolidation of financial reporting required for the preparation of financials in the de-merger process. The Inventory Management application operated across the finance function, fixed asset management and internal audit coordination, enabling the finance team to prepare change requests and design documentation for ERP optimization and for the planned upgrade of the ERP environment. Governance and process workstreams were formalized through ERP change request and design document routines, interaction between the functional team and developers for change implementation, and user training focused on finance and fixed asset management processes. The project emphasized functional ownership and training, handling of the finance functional team, and preparation activities ahead of the current ERP upgradation. | |
