OCS Worldwide UK | Distribution | 200 | $22M | United Kingdom | In-House Applications | In-House Warehouse Management | Warehouse Management | 2020 | n/a | In 2020, OCS Worldwide UK deployed an In-House Warehouse Management application to formalize core warehouse workflows at its United Kingdom distribution site. The deployment supported a mid-market distribution operator with roughly 200 employees, orienting system interactions around day-to-day warehouse operative tasks rather than enterprise-scale orchestration. The In-House Warehouse Management application implemented functional capabilities aligned with Warehouse Management expectations, including inbound receiving and putaway workflows, pallet build and unpack procedures, shipment document processing, and dock bay assignment for loading. The system captured courier shipment data entry directly from warehouse operatives, and supported pick and loading sequences tied to correct destination bays and shipment labels, reflecting operational control over inventory staging and dispatch. Operational coverage was focused on warehouse operatives and the shipping and receiving functions, with manual data entry of courier shipments into the in-house system cited as a primary interaction. The implementation emphasized document handling and physical pallet processes, so the application served as the operational record for handling shipment bags, processing shipment documentation, and assigning loads to destination bays. Operational governance reflected operator-level process standardization, with procedures for pallet building, unpacking, shipment document processing, and bay loading enforced through the In-House Warehouse Management application. Operational use by warehouse staff was documented between January 2020 and June 2020, indicating the application was exercised in routine warehouse operations and embedded into day-to-day shipping and receiving workflows.

P&O Ferrymasters | Transportation | 500 | $527M | United Kingdom | Davanti Warehousing | Corax WMS | Warehouse Management | 2020 | n/a | In 2020 P&O Ferrymasters implemented Corax WMS as its Warehouse Management application across targeted European operations, beginning with a rapid rollout in the Netherlands and a subsequent UK deployment. The implementation in the Dutch warehouse completed in two months from blueprint to go-live, demonstrating a compressed project timeline and phased customer onboarding during initial outbound operations. CORAX consultants delivered a detailed blueprint of warehouse logistics flows and a proposed configuration that P&O used to organize inbound, storage and outbound processes in Corax WMS. The second customer on the platform was configured on site during the go-live outbound, and most implementation tasks including the majority of interface settings were executed by P&O employees with support from Davanti Warehousing, indicating the solution was practical for internal teams to learn and operate. For the London Gateway implementation Corax WMS used the Excise and Customs module to support HMRC requirements for excise goods, registering fields such as commodity code, excise product type, excise rate type, alcohol percentage, quantities in boxes, bottles including content, and the eAD document number for received stock. Outbound workflows retain the original eAD source for picks, record destination and whether shipments include an eAD or require excise duty payment, and the module provides balance and transaction reporting for incoming transactions, adjustments and outgoing transactions within a defined period including opening balance. The implementation included integrations with the customer ERP, SAP, for the new UK customer, with interfaces configured primarily by P&O staff and supported by Davanti Warehousing consultants. Corax WMS was configured to manage multiple stock owners and multiple storage locations within a single installation, enabling administrative and RF users to access one or more inventory owners or warehouses based on authorization, and maintaining real time stock levels per warehouse and across the estate. Following Rotterdam and the United Kingdom steps, additional warehouse rollouts in Germany were planned.
