Operational coverage spanned design teams in Barcelona, manufacturing and supply chain teams in Spain, and downstream supplier sites in Asia, establishing cross site BOM visibility and supplier acknowledgements.
Governance and process changes standardized BOM change workflows and supplier notification rules to reduce errors and accelerate approvals. The implementation cut BOM change turnaround to under a day, saved about nine weeks per program, eliminated most BOM errors and enabled suppliers to manage and receive notifications on BOMs.
