The initiative was executed as a single project with a single user outage objective, addressing a long-standing platform obsolescence and preserving logistics data that had been managed on French territory for the Heineken subsidiary. The implementation concentrated on ERP Financial capabilities typical for the category, including general ledger processing, accounts payable and receivable, closing and cost center accounting, coupled with Unicode conversion and on-the-fly data transformation. CODiLOG configured and managed the technical upgrade scenarios and impact measurements, while data transformation and conversion tasks were completed using the SAP SLO solution supplied by the SAP publisher. Integration and operational coverage were organized around a tight collaborative model between CODiLOG and SAP, with workshops to align host and publisher teams during a six month consulting and design phase. The project was completed in approximately 15 months, with CODiLOG driving project management, scenario selection and regression mitigation, and SAP performing the transformation phase. Training was delivered to approximately 1,100 users and the system cutover impact was constrained to a single weekend interruption. Governance emphasized cross-vendor coordination and risk control, including impact measurement, data retention solutions and performance tuning for very large data volumes. The on-the-fly Unicode conversion and version upgrade was completed with user acceptance and resolved performance issues, and a subsequent upgrade engagement on another entity was later entrusted to CODiLOG. France Boissons SAP ERP ECC 6.0 ERP Financial now supports finance and logistics business functions under the new governance model. | |

The implementation was scoped to support project investment assessment workflows and to provide a single source of transactional and controlling data for reporting and decision support. Governance and rollout were driven by the director of controlling with a central team of six controllers and coordination with five regional controllers to operationalize new processes.
