In 2018, Royal London Unit Trust Managers implemented SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Marketing. SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Marketing was deployed as the Candidate Relationship Management component within a broader SAP SuccessFactors program that included Employee Central, Compensation, Recruitment, RMK, Onboarding 1.0, PMGM, and Succession. Cognizant served as the system integrator on the engagement, with a lead SuccessFactors solution architect responsible for overall solution design and delivery.
The implementation emphasized modular configuration and data migration. Configuration work included Recruiting Marketing campaign and candidate lifecycle configurations, Co-Employee Central workstream tasks, Lead Data Migration functional design, and Online Report Designer report design and configuration. The approach followed category-aligned workflows for talent attraction, candidate pool segmentation, candidate relationship nurturing, and integration-centre dependent orchestration for recruitment event and campaign data.
Named integrations were designed and built into the solution, explicitly including iTrent, Microsoft Identity Manager, and TalentLink. Integration design covered identity provisioning, candidate data exchange, and synchronization between Applicant Tracking and HR record systems, with configuration points routed through the integration centre where required. Operational coverage focused on HR systems configuration, recruitment and onboarding processes, and technical links to payroll and identity services.
Project governance activities included support for project management, risks and issues, and governance oversight by the client and Cognizant delivery leads. The implementation footprint impacted recruitment, onboarding, HR operations, performance management and succession processes through centralized SuccessFactors configuration. SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Marketing was restated in design documentation and operational handover artifacts as the primary Candidate Relationship Management application for talent acquisition activities.

In 2019 Royal Vopak implemented Oracle Cloud ERP, engaging Cognizant to execute a global replacement of Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne. The program targeted Finance and Procurement functions and was planned as a global deployment to almost every Vopak terminal worldwide over a two to three year rollout.
Oracle Cloud ERP was provisioned as an ERP Financial platform and configured to support core financial operations and procurement workflows. Configuration work emphasized general ledger control, accounts payable integration with procurement purchasing, invoice processing, and vendor master management, reflecting the project focus on finance and procurement business functions.
The deployment used Oracle Cloud ERP SaaS architecture with centralized configuration templates and per-terminal rollout to align local transactional processing with global financial master data. Operational scope covered terminals worldwide and included localized process adaptation at site level while retaining centralized chart of accounts and procurement policy configuration.
Governance and change management included embedded Procurement Project Consultants during the rollout and the establishment of a dedicated Oracle Cloud Learning and Adoption Coach role to sustain training and adoption from 2021 onward. Cognizant acted as the implementation partner supporting configuration, rollout governance, and organizational adoption across finance and procurement teams.
