In 2016, Eraneos Netherlands implemented Odoo Sign to add Digital Signing capabilities to its enterprise Odoo environment. The deployment was delivered with Cravit and was provisioned inside a single multi-company Odoo instance that already supported more than 15 legal entities, about 300 users, and over 500,000 time registration entries across the consultancy organization.
The implementation followed an agile, one-app-at-a-time approach, initially prioritizing core modules including contacts, sales, projects, time registration, financial administration and HRM and leave registration, then extending the platform with CRM, event management, document management and digital signature functionality. Odoo Sign was configured as the organization wide electronic signature component and was operationally tied into the document management module to support contract signing, training documentation distribution and signature workflows for HR and client engagements.
Cravit developed multiple integrations as part of the overall Odoo program, including an expenses interface using Mastercard, an e-commerce website integration and an eLearning platform link, which allowed Odoo Sign and document flows to be used within broader operational processes. The rollout covered consultancy delivery and training logistics across Eraneos offices and core regions including the Netherlands, Spain, Malaysia, Japan and India, providing staff and clients direct access to signed documents from any device.
Governance was organized around a sustained joint Eraneos and Cravit agile team that remained active after go live to continuously add functionality and optimize workflows. As documented by Eraneos, the integrated Odoo stack with Odoo Sign improved project tracking and forecasting, reduced project overruns, automated training logistics and strengthened customer communications while preserving the flexibility to add tailored functionality.
