Manufacturing | 16500 | $11.2B | Australia | Crowe | Crowe Insight Platform | Analytics and BI | 2016 |
In 2016, Bluescope implemented the Crowe Insight Platform alongside Microsoft Dynamics 365 and the Crowe Metals Accelerator, engaging Crowe and DXC Technology to consolidate 13 legacy systems. The initiative targeted operational consolidation and reporting centralization across supply chain, customer service and finance in Australia.
The Crowe Insight Platform, classified as Analytics and BI, was used to centralize analytics, provide a common data model and enable Power BI reporting off a single dataset. Configuration and module work centered on Dynamics 365 supply chain, customer service and finance capabilities augmented by the Crowe Metals Accelerator, with the analytics layer designed to surface dashboards and operational reports for those business functions.
Integration architecture connected Microsoft Dynamics 365 and the Crowe Metals Accelerator to Power BI for visualization, and the implementation included a customer portal integrated with the ERP and service modules for transactional visibility. DXC Technology served as the implementation partner, with Crowe providing the industry accelerator and analytics services as part of the overall solution.
Governance work focused on establishing a single reporting dataset and centralized BI workflows to support cross-functional reporting in Australia, and the rollout delivered a customer portal plus Power BI reporting capabilities as explicit outcomes of the program.
