Arteak | Professional Services | 100 | $10M | United Kingdom | Microsoft | Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central | ERP Financial | 2020 | In 2020, Arteak implemented Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central as its cloud ERP Financial platform, migrating from Microsoft Dynamics NAV to Business Central Online and moving deployment to Microsoft Azure. The migration was prompted by accounting accuracy issues in the NAV version, inability to match trial balances, hosting provider restrictions on development access, and incompatibility with HMRC mandated electronic VAT submissions. Dynamics Square upgraded and configured Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central to centralize finance and accounting workflows, including general ledger reconciliation, trial balance alignment, balance sheet and profit and loss reporting, and automated tax invoice generation for email distribution. Customizations and integrations were delivered to connect financial ledgers with sales and customer management records, and to enable Making Tax Digital compliant VAT reporting directly from Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. Operational coverage focused on Arteak headquarters in London while supporting the companys national and international HSSE consulting and operational services, with core business functions impacted being finance, accounting, sales, customer management, and production process automation. The cloud architecture of Business Central Online provided anywhere access for employees, removed prior hosting constraints, and centralized control and safety of ERP data through Microsoft Azure hosting. Governance and change management were supported by Dynamics Square through hands on training, configuration guidance, and post go live support to help Arteak staff adopt the new workflows. Post implementation Arteak reported that the new Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central environment performed without lag, enabled accurate turnover and cost allocation reconciliation, simplified income versus expenditure analysis, automated production related processes, and permitted direct electronic submission of VAT returns to HMRC along with faster distribution of financial statements.

CRM Trading | Distribution | 55 | $5M | United Kingdom | Microsoft | Microsoft Dynamics NAV | ERP Financial | 2019 | In 2019, CRM Trading upgraded to Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2018 as an ERP Financial implementation to consolidate its accounting and tax reporting for a UK-based distribution business. CRM Trading is a 55-employee wholesaler of fragrance, skincare, cosmetics, and hair-care, and the Microsoft Dynamics NAV deployment was scoped to address finance processing bottlenecks and compliance requirements. The implementation centralized the whole financial process inside Microsoft Dynamics NAV, configuring ledger management, transaction processing, user setup workflows, and employee ledger maintenance. Dynamics Square configured Business Intelligence capabilities within NAV 2018 to provide near real-time insights and to support operational decision workflows, and the solution enabled one-click opening of ledgers and robust data export routines. Integrations implemented as part of the program included embedding Microsoft Office 365 and Microsoft Excel with Microsoft Dynamics NAV to enable report sharing and bulk data exports. The NAV 2018 setup was aligned to support Making Tax Digital submissions to HMRC, thereby covering statutory tax reporting for CRM Trading's UK finance operations. Operational coverage focused on finance and support ticket handling, improving the timeliness of invoicing and customer communications through email distribution of tax invoices and reports. Dynamics Square led the upgrade from Dynamics NAV 2009 to NAV 2018 and guided governance changes, training, and BI adoption to improve support ticket measurement and process visibility. Post rollout the client reported resolution of ledger performance issues, error-free Excel exports, instant report sharing via Office 365, and the ability to submit MTD returns to HMRC, all delivered within the Microsoft Dynamics NAV ERP Financial configuration.
