The contract and delivery window ran from March 2023 to May 2024, and the project was executed in a hybrid model with significant activity in County Dublin, Ireland. The implementation centered on Procure to Pay capabilities within SAP Ariba Procure to Pay, incorporating standard category-aligned functions such as requisition and catalog management, purchase order orchestration, and invoice capture and three way matching. This work was embedded in a broader finance scope that explicitly included Record to Report, Order to Cash, Treasury and Tax, Direct Operating Costs, Capex and project tracking, fixed assets, bank reconciliation and cash management, and general ledger reporting. Architecturally, SAP Ariba Procure to Pay was integrated with the target SAP S/4HANA IAG Group instance for master data synchronization, transactional posting and end to end financial flows. The program included an SAP S/4HANA MDM lead role to govern supplier, material and finance master data alignment, and the Ariba connection was positioned to feed procurement transaction and invoice data into S/4HANA finance modules. Governance and rollout were structured around centralized master data management, finance process harmonization and phased cutover aligned to the S/4HANA migration plan. EY Ireland acted as the system integrator, with explicit responsibilities for program delivery and MDM coordination across the finance and procurement functions.
