In 2016 Care Health Insurance, formerly Religare Health Insurance Company Limited, implemented Oracle Cloud ERP as an ERP Financial solution to modernize finance and supply chain processes across the organization. Operational coverage extended to 70 branches, with finance, procurement, and administration users enabled to access single reporting and drill down to live transactions across multiple dimensions.
Governance and process changes included implementing an online approval system driven by approver hierarchy and authoritative metrics, and empowering finance end users to drive implementation with limited IT dependency. Filix Consulting acted as the implementation partner, configuring GST legislation within Oracle ERP Cloud, delivering user training, and supporting the pilot and rollout activities.
Results reported by the customer include halving the time to complete bank reconciliation statements from four hours to two hours through Oracle Java Cloud Service enabled integration, reduced manual intervention for payment file uploads via host-to-host connectivity, a single reporting platform for drill down to transactions, strengthened control and visibility over inventory and payments, ensured GST compliance through configurable tax legislation in Oracle Cloud ERP, and automation of end-to-end financial processes that allowed finance staff to focus on analysis rather than manual data work.
