American AgCredit | Banking and Financial Services | 1060 | $408M | United States | Linedata | Linedata Capitalstream | Loan Management | 2010 |
In 2010 American AgCredit implemented Linedata CapitalStream to automate agricultural lending origination and straight-through processing, deploying the solution as its core Loan Management platform across the association's lending operations in the United States. The deployment focused on standardizing origination workflows and establishing straight-through processing for loan intake, underwriting handoffs, and downstream servicing records.
The implementation configured Linedata CapitalStream to support agricultural specific lending workflows, including crop cycle tied loan structures and seasonal repayment schedules, and included workflow orchestration, automated data capture at origination, and centralized reporting capabilities. Functional emphasis centered on origination, credit workflow automation, document management, and loan lifecycle processing consistent with Loan Management operational needs.
HCLTech served as the system integrator for the engagement, driving configuration and rollout activities across the association. Operational scope covered American AgCredit lending centers and regional operations in the United States, aligning process controls and data models to agricultural collateral and borrower profile requirements.
Governance changes accompanied the technical rollout, with governance focused on data integrity controls and reporting standardization to improve regulatory and portfolio visibility. The solution improved data integrity and reporting as described in the vendor and implementer announcement, and it embedded agricultural lending patterns into operational workflows to reduce manual intervention.

In 2007 Belfast City Council deployed Oracle SPARC as its core Application Hosting and Computing Services platform to host municipal and partner database workloads. The Belfast City Council Oracle SPARC Application Hosting and Computing Services deployment consolidated SPARC M3000 and M4000 servers running Solaris 10 with Oracle 11g and Oracle Application Server 11as for production and test environments.
Configuration and operational modules implemented included Oracle RDBMS version upgrades, specifically migrations from 9.2 to 10g and then to 11.2.0.5, Oracle Forms and Reports migration to Fusion Middleware, and an Apache migration into Fusion Middleware. The estate also included Oracle Apex environment migration from 3.1.2 to 4.1, regular application and Oracle patching using opatch, and the development of Solaris and Oracle scripting for clones, backups and disaster recovery.
Integrations and operational coverage extended to support of the Northern Ireland Housing Executive production and test databases housed at Belfast City Council, and ongoing support for internal systems across Oracle Apex, SAP, SQL Server, Oracle, IIS and Apache. The implementation required 24/7 production support with significant out of hours activities to maintain availability of database services and middleware.
HCL Technologies supported the deployment as the systems integrator, with governance centered on audit and security procedures for sensitive data, scripted performance monitoring including tracing and tkprof analysis, formal capacity planning and scheduled upgrade and DR processes. Operational responsibilities emphasized upgrades, backups, clones, DR rehearsals and continuous performance tuning for the Oracle SPARC environment.
