In 2021 Jet Aviation migrated from SAP ERP ECC 6.0 to SAP S/4 HANA as the core enterprise platform, with HCLTech engaged as the implementation partner using a fit to standard approach. The SAP S/4 HANA deployment was positioned to serve as the ERP Financial backbone while also underpinning logistics and maintenance operations across a new global IT template.
The implementation combined SAP S/4 HANA finance and logistics modules with HCLTech’s iMRO/4 solution and the iSAM suite to provide a complete enterprise asset management capability. HCLTech’s iMRO Digital Core and iSAM suite were explicitly used to fill functional gaps and white space in SAP S/4 HANA, enabling standardized maintenance workflows, asset configuration, and shop level maintenance processes consistent with best practice business process design.
Architecturally the program integrated SAP S/4 HANA with HCLTech’s maintenance applications and leveraged the SAP Business Technology Platform to extend maintenance capabilities and orchestration across systems. Jet Aviation implemented a single global IT template covering finance, logistics, and aircraft maintenance, connecting core ERP transactional processing with specialized EAM functions to create a unified operational model for maintenance and financial control.
Governance emphasized a fit to standard methodology, standardized master data, and adoption of best practice processes as critical success factors, informed by lessons learned during rollout. The stated outcomes included enabling business efficiencies through intelligent maintenance solutions and establishing a world class IT platform, with the SAP Business Technology Platform positioned to enable the next level of efficiency within the maintenance business.

In 2020, Kelly Roofing implemented Microsoft Dynamics 365 Field Service as the core Field Service Management platform within a broader Microsoft application stack that included Dynamics 365 Sales and Dynamics 365 Business Central. The deployment targeted field operations, crew scheduling, work order lifecycle management, and customer communications to centralize job records and streamline field-to-office workflows.
The implementation combined a custom canvas Job Photo App built on Power Apps with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Field Service to capture jobsite photos, perform status updates, and present scheduling and reporting to crews on mobile devices. The Job Photo App uses local device storage for offline photo capture, an automated naming convention for images, and Power Automate flows to orchestrate file processing, upload, and record updates. Microsoft Dataverse functions as the transactional datastore for job and work order records, while SharePoint Online serves as the project document and photo repository.
Architecturally the solution is a mobile-first front end, Power Automate orchestration layer, Dataverse transactional tier, and SharePoint document tier, with Microsoft Teams and email used for notifications and customer communications. Microsoft Dynamics 365 Field Service remained the authoritative system for customer and work order management, and status updates initiated in the Power Apps canvas app trigger Power Automate flows that update records in Dataverse and surface links and notifications in Teams and email.
HCLTech acted as the implementation partner, delivering the initial Job Photo App in roughly 120 hours of development and a multi-week rollout to field crews and office staff. Governance and process changes centralized photo management, eliminated manual reconciliation, and replaced paper job tickets with mobile schedules. Reported outcomes from the deployment include a greater than 90 percent reduction in photo processing time, a one quarter reduction in crew travel time through improved scheduling, and a 36 percent drop in customer call-backs, reflecting measurable improvements in field operations and customer communications.
