Manufacturing | 200 | $35M | Poland | IFS | IFS Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul | Plant Maintenance | 2015 | In 2015 Lumag implemented IFS Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul as part of an enterprise IFS ERP deployment to provide Plant Maintenance capabilities supporting maintenance and equipment upkeep across its manufacturing operations. The project combined Plant Maintenance with finance, HR and payroll, manufacturing planning and operational reporting, distribution including procurement and sales, warehouse management with WMS functionality, quality management, and B2B and EDI communications. InfoConsulting configured IFS to Lumag requirements and parametrized functional modules for manufacturing planning, operational reporting, and maintenance management. The IFS Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul implementation included preparation for production reporting via touch terminals, expanded time and attendance reporting, a task based WMS for warehouses and partial shop floor inventory control, and a change in sales unit logic to pallet level to reflect logistics and handling practices. The deployment used the IFS Information Access Layer to feed a MicroStrategy based BI layer and to consume data from external sources including Microsoft Excel files. The BI solution provided web and mobile access on iPads with offline capability and a notification system, while warehouse terminals and WMS processes were integrated into operational workflows, and B2B portals and EDI channels supported supplier and customer communications. Governance and rollout were delivered by InfoConsulting as a Platinum level IFS partner, with the implementation team modifying interfaces and reporting and executing process improvement activities during the first phase. The project went live roughly one year after contract signing and covered the Budzyń production site as well as cross functional areas such as procurement, production, warehouse, sales, finance and management. By consolidating previously non integrated management tools into a unified IFS environment Lumag achieved consistent information and more efficient operations. The integrated solution delivered unified reporting and error tracking, simplified warehouse management through WMS functionality, and real time access to multidimensional operational and commercial data via MicroStrategy dashboards and mobile applications.

Manufacturing | 200 | $35M | Poland | IFS | IFS Sales and Distribution | Supply Chain Management | 2015 | In 2015, Lumag implemented IFS Sales and Distribution as part of a targeted Supply Chain Management deployment for its manufacturing and distribution operations. The rollout was delivered with InfoConsulting as the implementation partner and focused on unifying previously heterogeneous management solutions across the company. The implementation encompassed finance, HR and payroll, manufacturing including manufacturing planning and operational reporting, distribution covering procurement and sales, warehouse management with WMS functionality, quality management, and maintenance. IFS Sales and Distribution was parameterized to Lumag requirements and extended to support production reporting using touch terminals, expanded time and attendance reporting, a task based WMS in warehouses and parts of manufacturing, and a change in sales unit to pallets with contents rather than separate items. Integration work included a predefined IFS analytical layer exposed via the IFS Information Access Layer IAL, feeding a MicroStrategy based business intelligence solution and consuming data from external customer sources including Microsoft Excel files. The deployment included EDI communication in specific areas and B2B portals for suppliers and customers, and provided a mobile web and offline experience for sales and management on tablet devices. Project governance combined InfoConsulting consulting with Lumag process owners to optimize core workflows, adjust system interfaces and reporting, and prepare operational processes for terminal driven production and warehouse transactions. The team performed configuration, interface modification and reporting adaption, and instituted management dashboarding with multidimensional drill down to support operational decision making. As stated by Lumag, the integrated IFS Sales and Distribution implementation increased operational efficiency and provided a unified system of reporting and error handling, simplified warehouse management through wider use of WMS capabilities, and enabled more consistent planning and control of item rotation. The scope covered manufacturing operations in the Budzyń plant, commercial distribution across Poland and export markets in the EU, and extended to sales, procurement, production, finance and maintenance functions.

Manufacturing | 180 | $22M | Hungary | IFS | IFS Cloud ERP | ERP Financial | 2024 | In 2024, Inno-Comp Kft. implemented IFS Cloud ERP as its ERP Financial platform to support international manufacturing operations across Hungary and the Czech Republic. This deployment continues a long history with IFS, marking the company’s third main product version after nearly a decade and a half of ERP usage, and it is positioned to manage multi currency and multilingual requirements inherent in the group’s cross border production and sales flows. The IFS Cloud ERP implementation covers core financials, manufacturing execution, maintenance, human resources, and project support, with role based personalization delivered through the IFS Lobby. Configuration emphasized automated workflows for production picking, bill of materials and mixture preparation, and traceability workflows that tie barcode driven identification into transactions. Customization effort relied on IFS capabilities that do not require extensive programming, enabling rapid adaptation of screens and the Lobby interface for shop floor and finance users. Integrations were explicitly scoped to exchange data with banking software, Advanced Budgeting tools, applications carrying PLC data traffic, and WEB EDI channels, allowing transactional and master data flows to remain synchronized. A centralized single database architecture underpins the solution, consolidating inventory, production, and finance ledgers across the Hungarian plant and the Inno Comp Bohemia facility, while a barcode system enforces traceability and material picking workflows. InfoConsulting supported the technical integration work and leveraged its international presence to execute a parallel implementation across the two countries. Governance for the rollout was managed by a joint project team composed of Inno-Comp subject matter specialists and InfoConsulting consultants, with InfoConsulting providing process design guidance and iterative solutioning during cutover. The update required limited business process reengineering, while allowing some satellite system functions to be replaced by built in ERP capabilities, and the team pursued a phased adoption of new modules such as manufacturing visualizer and deeper project support. Change management included managing initial user resistance and focusing on first year stabilization to drive broader acceptance. Declared outcomes from the implementation include a unified information model so that a data record has consistent meaning across sites, faster and more accurate reporting, simplified breakeven calculation and cost analysis, and administrative efficiency gains that enabled staff to perform more complex analyses. The IFS Cloud ERP environment also serves as an innovation platform for Inno-Comp Kft., with manufacturing visualizer and customizable Lobby dashboards prioritized for further optimization.
