The deployment included Oracle Cloud Global Human Resource configured for Core HR including Employee Self Service, Manager Self Service and HR Admin Self Service, Oracle Payroll Cloud, Oracle Cloud Absence Management and Oracle Cloud Security. Oracle Cloud HCM Payroll was configured to centralize payroll processing and payroll-related configuration while linking HR master data and absence records to payroll calculations, reflecting standard Payroll category workflows. Integrations were executed with two applicant tracking systems to support recruitment and with a digital onboarding flow, and the implementation delivered interfaces to four downstream systems to propagate HR and payroll data. The architecture positioned Oracle HCM Cloud as the authoritative HR and payroll system of record and applied role-based security controls to separate HR admin, manager and standard user access. Governance and rollout emphasized solution design, consulting, change management, delivery and training of key users, with the program team monitoring adoption and user readiness during and after go-live. The Church of England deployed Oracle Cloud HCM Payroll to support both Payroll and HR business functions, with centralized configuration and single-phase go-live governance to stabilize operational processes. | |
