Architecturally the deployment was integrated with Electrolux back-end SAP ERP to synchronize stock levels, shipping information, order history, and pricing, and it was aligned with the broader SAP landscape that includes SAP C/4HANA and SAP CRM On-Premise as part of customer engagement and service processes. The commerce platform was configured for multi-channel order intake with orchestration into ERP for factory direct and standard distribution flows, providing a single source for order status and tracking across channels. Governance and delivery were led by Knack Systems which had an established relationship with Electrolux since 2012 and provided implementation, enhancement, and continuous support services. Post go-live outcomes reported by Electrolux include a doubling of eCommerce revenue in less than two years, a broader customer base and new revenue streams, a reduction in call and email inquiries following SAP C/4HANA adoption, and improved visibility into inventory, shipping, order tracking, order history, and pricing through ERP integration. |
