Archer Daniels Midland Company | Manufacturing | 42383 | $85.5B | United States | FIS Global | FIS GETPAID | AR Automation | 2015 |
In 2015, Archer Daniels Midland Company implemented FIS GETPAID as part of its AR Automation rollout across multiple global divisions. Oxford Global Resources supplied implementation and consultant resources, with a consultant employed on a two year contract from September 2015 to September 2017 to drive the FIS GETPAID deployment and adoption at ADM.
The implementation work focused on system configuration, data validation, user acceptance testing and problem resolution for FIS GETPAID. Functional workflows were designed and implemented for cash application, customer service, claims and dispute handling, credit risk controls and collections, aligning typical AR Automation capabilities with ADM operational needs.
Deployment spanned multiple global divisions and multiple departments, with training and support provided to staff at all levels. The consultant partnered with internal ADM resources to manage project deliverables and timelines, and provided ongoing user support via phone, email, in person and via Skype while operating from a home office in California and traveling to ADM offices as required.
Governance and process work included designing end to end workflows for cash application and collections, executing data validation and user acceptance testing cycles, and creating comprehensive training materials. Training artifacts included manuals, hand outs, exercises and agendas, and were accompanied by surveys to assess effectiveness and iterative updates to content based on feedback.
Post go live activities emphasized user adoption and sustainment, with follow up training to ensure staff were using FIS GETPAID correctly and were made aware of new functionality. The engagement documented operational procedures and provided a structured support cadence to stabilize AR processes under the AR Automation application.
