In 2017, American Cancer Society implemented Adobe Marketing Cloud (ex Omniture) as a Marketing Automation capability to support the redesigned cancer.org digital experience. R2i Partners built the new site using updated brand assets and modern UX, delivering an intuitive navigation model and a mobile friendly experience while embedding Adobe Marketing Cloud technology to enable faster access to content and enhanced accessibility for diverse site visitors.
Adobe Marketing Cloud (ex Omniture) was configured to provide core Marketing Automation capabilities including web analytics, audience segmentation, content personalization, and campaign orchestration tied directly into the cancer.org front end. The implementation emphasized on site instrumentation and tagging, content targeting logic, and editorial publishing workflows to ensure analytics driven content delivery and accessibility compliance across pages and device profiles.
The engagement replaced the prior Oracle Siebel environment and integrated the Adobe Marketing Cloud instance with the new cancer.org platform, aligning digital marketing, content and analytics functions. R2i Partners acted as the implementation partner, executing the build and rollout which centralized digital measurement and audience management for the organization’s donor, patient and information seeking audiences.
Governance was established around content publishing, accessibility standards and measurement ownership to support ongoing campaign execution and analytics stewardship. The outcome reported by the project included a more valuable digital experience for varied site visitors and faster access to content through the Adobe Marketing Cloud enabled architecture.
