In 2018 InterGlobe Aviation, known as IndiGo, implemented Fortra Globalscape EFT Enterprise as a File Transfer Protocol application across its IT security and business operations with delivery support from Systech. The implementation addressed regulatory compliance requirements and standardized automated transfers of approximately 30 GB per week, positioning Fortra Globalscape EFT as the central managed file transfer platform across the organization.
The deployment used modules such as AWE, DMZ Multi-site Gateway, ARM, AAMM and BAM to introduce workflow automation, enhanced monitoring, centralized auditing, and structured vendor onboarding. Fortra Globalscape EFT Enterprise was configured to run automated job orchestration and event-driven workflows through the AWE module while BAM and ARM provided operational visibility and reporting aligned with security controls.
Architecturally the project included DMZ Multi-site Gateway components to segregate perimeter transfer traffic from internal processing, enabling multi-site secure handoffs and centralized management of endpoints. The configuration emphasized enterprise-grade file transfer governance, centralized logging, and monitoring across sites, consistent with File Transfer Protocol operational practices for secure exchange and traceability.
Governance and process changes focused on formalizing vendor onboarding workflows and operational monitoring, with Systech delivering the rollout and configuration workstreams. The implementation narrative centers on Fortra Globalscape EFT Enterprise as the platform used to meet compliance requirements and to automate recurring weekly transfers within IndiGo’s IT security and business operations.
