In 2017 Diligent Corporation implemented OneStream XF as its EPM platform. Functionally Diligent configured OneStream XF to maintain an annual budget and a monthly forecast alongside quarterly forecasts, and to plan sales and revenue forecasts at product and business unit levels by country and local currency. The Finance team adopted a driver based planning model with dimensional drivers defined for country, business unit, department, and function, and implemented People Planning from the OneStream MarketPlace to replace manual headcount forecasting in Excel. Planning extended to granular OPEX at department, business unit, country, vendor, and project levels, enabling budget owners to pull financial variances against each maintained forecast.
Governance and process changes centered on standardization of methodology and ongoing driver updates, with budget owners accountable for monthly variance review and a consistent forecasting cadence. Diligent reported budgeting cycle improvements and stated that time spent on forecasting was cut in half, while OneStream XF provided a unified EPM foundation that aligned forecasting, reporting, and accounting data.
