In 2022 Petit Bateau SaS implemented Quable PIM, deploying a Product Information Management solution to centralize product information across stores, websites, marketplaces and outlets. The implementation targeted commercial catalog operations for the fashion and retail assortment, aligning the Quable PIM product master with seasonal collection cadences to reduce time to market.
The Quable PIM configuration emphasized a governed product data model, taxonomy and enrichment workflows, with automated categorization rules and validation to improve catalog completeness. Functional capabilities implemented included centralized attribute management, catalog versioning for seasonal launches and automated syndication feeds to downstream channels, supporting merchandising and e-commerce catalog management processes.
Operational coverage extended across retail channels including physical stores, the corporate website and third party marketplaces and outlets, with the PIM acting as the single source of truth for product descriptions, SKU attributes and channel-specific assortments. Integrations focused on channel syndication and content export workflows to downstream storefronts and marketplace connectors, enabling more consistent product data across touchpoints and supporting merchandising, e-commerce and retail assortment planning.
Governance changes included formalized enrichment workflows, role-based ownership for product data and a process for seasonal collection rollouts to accelerate catalog updates. The project engaged Zento as the implementation partner, and reported outcomes included increased site conversions and an operational efficiency gain freeing approximately 0.5 FTE annually through improved categorization and automation.
