Operational integration covered Accenture’s Procurement, Finance, and Tax teams within the Procurement Plus organization and tied into single global instances of their ERP and SAS solutions with centralized administration and global process governance. The deployment addressed massive volume processing, about 1.3 million invoices per year, and enabled structured visibility across geographies so stakeholders could reduce variance and standardize workflows.
Governance changes emphasized fact based decision making and process standardization, with the Procurement Plus team using Celonis to identify eliminations and streamline approval pathways. Outcomes reported from the deployment include $35M annualized working capital benefits, a 50 percent reduction in Request to Order cycle time equating to two business days saved, a 30 percent reduction in invoice approval time, and an improved customer satisfaction score. Accenture also built internal Celonis EMS applications, including a sustainable procurement solution app, and uses the internal implementation as a reference for client engagements.

The SAP Fieldglass implementation was integrated into Accenture’s broader SAP ecosystem, leveraging the single global SAP S/4HANA instance and Accenture’s enterprise data lake to combine and enrich procurement and services data. The program also connected SAP Fieldglass workflows with SAP Ariba buying channels, Celonis process mining for end-to-end transaction transparency and process diagnostics, and a Procurement Operations Desk operating across 23 countries to allocate manual work, accelerate requisition processing, and consolidate purchase request data onto shared dashboards.
Governance and rollout were managed through the Procurement Plus program structure, emphasizing reuse of global design assets, process templates, and agile delivery from Accenture’s Cloud Platform Center of Excellence. The program institutionally tracked outcomes and operational metrics, including an explicitly stated five times improvement in contract compliance on catalog transactions in the first two years, the pursuit of intelligent spend management use cases such as AI driven GL coding and virtual assistants, and recognition when Accenture’s intelligent procurement approach received an SAP Innovation Award in 2019.

In 2017 Accenture implemented IBM Tririga Real Estate Management as a Facility Management solution and led a team of TRIRIGA developers to deliver enhancements and ongoing support for the REM CPi System. The REM CPi System is a TRIRIGA based solution that calculates rent payment amounts on Payment Line items and adjusts those payments using data retrieved from the Consumer Price Index.
The implementation centered on TRIRIGA CAPITAL PROJECTS and the REAL ESTATE module, with extensive form and field modifications, custom workflows, OM packages, and user security configuration. Reports were built using BIRT to summarize payment data on the TRIRIGA Lease Record, and SQL queries were used to drive data extraction and transformation for those reports.
Technical configuration included tuning of TRIRIGA Application Servers and Process Servers for connectivity to Oracle Databases to optimize throughput and performance. The team developed and modified TRIRIGA workflows to integrate operationally with the REM CPi payment adjustment logic, and implemented menu and portal changes to surface lease and payment information to end users.
Operational coverage focused on real estate and facilities business functions, supporting lease payment processing and capital projects workflows across the organization. Documentation and governance artifacts were produced to support supportability and change control, and the environment is undergoing an upgrade from Production version 10.3.1 to version 10.5.3 in the Staging environment.
