In 2019, Adfast implemented Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations. The deployment targeted core finance and accounting functions under the ERP Financial category and was led with Korcomptenz as the implementation partner and Functional Consultant for Finance. The implementation explicitly aligned the Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations application with Adfast business functions including general ledger, accounts receivable and payable, fixed assets and management reporting.
The project delivered finance fundamentals configuration, implementing General Ledger, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable, Cash and Bank Management, Tax, Budgeting, Management Reporter, Fixed Assets and broader Financial Setups. Configuration work encompassed ledger and subledger mappings, tax and budget controls and Management Reporter configuration to support statutory and management reporting requirements. Functional documentation activities included preparation of a Functional Requirement Document after fit gap analysis and detailed design and development documentation.
Operational coverage centered on the finance and accounting organization at Adfast, with the implementation supporting management reporting and day to day financial operations. The team created test cases and managed testing processes to validate transaction flows within Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations, and coordinated ongoing support for end users. Korcomptenz consultants handled user coordination and operational support for finance workflows.
Governance and rollout followed a formal process managed by Korcomptenz including fit gap analysis, FRD creation, design documentation, user acceptance testing and training. The engagement included conducting trainings and presentations for management and end users, preparing detailed training user manual documents and arranging UAT to validate configuration and reporting outputs. Korcomptenz Technologies Inc provided a Microsoft Dynamics Functional Consultant for Finance from December 2020 to present to support ongoing stabilization and user enablement.
