In 2019, Asket implemented Centra for eCommerce on its public website asket.com, establishing Centra as the companys primary digital storefront platform. The Centra eCommerce deployment centralizes product catalog and pricing management, storefront content and merchandising, shopping cart and checkout, and order capture workflows for the online channel.
The implementation reflects a small retail organization configuration, with Centra configured to support catalog-driven merchandising, SKU and inventory visibility, and checkout orchestration typical of modern eCommerce platforms. Administrative and operational functionality is delivered through Centra's management console, enabling merchandising and operations staff to manage product data, pricing rules, promotions, and order processing from a single system.
Operational scope for the Centra deployment is focused on Asket's website operations in Sweden, serving the business functions of ecommerce merchandising, online sales, and order management. Governance of content and commerce workflows is centralized within the Centra environment, aligning storefront configuration, product updates, and order handling under a single platform for the companys web channel.
