In 2020, Banterra Bank implemented CSI ACH Processing to centralize Payment Processing for its commercial and consumer banking channels. The implementation targeted bankwide ACH operations across its footprint in Arizona, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Missouri and Utah, aligning payments execution with Banterra’s NuPoint Core Banking Platform and broader customer service objectives.
The CSI ACH Processing deployment encompassed core ACH capabilities typical of Payment Processing systems, including ACH batch submission, automated file ingestion, return and exception handling, and settlement orchestration. Configuration emphasized automation and shared workflows, leveraging CSI APIs to reduce manual touchpoints and to enable straight through processing across teller operations and centralized payments operations.
Integrations were implemented with CSI NuPoint, CSI Center Doc and CSI ACH Plus as part of the vendor ecosystem, and the bank used CSI APIs to connect selected third party vendors and service layers. Operational coverage included retail and commercial deposit operations, call center workflows supported by CSI Call Center services, and back office reconciliation processes across the bank’s branches and centralized operations.
Governance and rollout were coordinated with Banterra’s Office of Innovation and through ongoing collaboration with CSI relationship managers and the NuPoint Customer Advisory Board, providing a forum for iterative product feedback and prioritization.
