| SAP | Microsoft Dynamics AX | SAP S/4 HANA | ERP Financial | ERP Financial Management | n/a | 2021 | 2021 |
In 2021, Black Box implemented SAP S/4 HANA as its ERP Financial system, executing a migration from Microsoft Dynamics AX. The deployment was managed by a Senior Business Process Manager who owned system design and the overall implementation project for the SAP S/4 HANA migration.
The implementation configured core Finance controls and transactional workflows alongside Integrated Supply Chain, Operations, Sales and Customer Service process suites. Workstreams established included order to cash and procure to pay flows, master data harmonization, and the design and implementation of new product introduction and end of life lifecycle processes within SAP S/4 HANA.
Operational scope extended to global business process development and standardized global end to end processes across Finance, Integrated Supply Chain, Operations, Sales and Customer Service. A PMO function was established to provide product lifecycle management across the global supply chain and to operationalize SAP S/4 HANA process ownership across business functions.
Governance work included leading process design workshops, driving gap closure and new process implementation, and creating KPI and governance frameworks for integrated functions. The program designed and staffed a new PMO organization to manage NPI and EOL processes and to sustain governance across release and lifecycle activities.
Ongoing operations emphasize embedding standardized global E2E processes, KPI based governance, and PMO led product lifecycle management to maintain process consistency across sites and functions. SAP S/4 HANA remains the central ERP Financial application for transaction processing and cross functional process orchestration.

| ADP | Legacy | ADP Benefits | Benefits Administration | HCM | n/a | 2017 | 2018 |
In 2017, Black Box implemented ADP Benefits as its Benefits Administration platform to centralize benefit enrollment and plan management. The deployment supported administration for more than 3000 employees across the Continental United States, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Canada, and international expatriates, and it was used to drive the company annual open enrollment process in ADP Benefits.
The implementation covered core benefits modules typical for Benefits Administration, including employee enrollment workflows, plan setup for medical and dental, flexible spending accounts and commuter spending accounts, COBRA administration, prescription drug plan coordination, 401(k) plan administration with annual testing and reconciliation, and pension plan oversight. The team created benefit enrollment presentations, formalized policies and procedures, and restated WRAP and ERISA plan documents to align plan documentation with system configuration.
Integration work focused on payroll and HRIS linkage and carrier connectivity, the team coordinated ADP as the new payroll and HRIS platform for benefits, working directly with ADP to execute data extractions and establish benefits feeds to carriers. Implementation activities included onboarding new vendors for medical, dental, FSA, CSA, COBRA, and prescription drug administration, and resolving initial data and process issues associated with the new system deployment.
Governance and operational coverage included management of a Benefits Administrator and a Leave Analyst, and provision of guidance to HR Shared Services for benefits inquiries. The project also included coordination of wellness fairs and other employee wellness events, and troubleshooting during rollout to resolve the growing pains of the new ADP Benefits implementation as it related to benefits administration.

In 2018, Black Box implemented Zendesk Chat on its website. The deployment uses the Zendesk Chat web-embedded widget to provide real-time messaging under the Chatbots and Conversational AI category, enabling live customer engagement and asynchronous conversation capture for customer support and lead interactions. The configuration is sized for a 10 person professional services firm, with agent presence on site pages and session histories maintained within the application.
The implementation scope is limited to the corporate website, covering customer support and business development touchpoints rather than broader internal systems. Administration is conducted through the Zendesk Chat console with role-based agent access and queue configuration, aligning chat routing to small team workflows. Governance emphasized centralized admin controls and standardized conversational templates to ensure consistent handling of inbound queries.
