In 2017 Blackmores replaced a legacy HRM system by selecting and deploying Oracle Cloud HCM Compensation as part of a broader Oracle HCM Fusion rollout. The cloud-based implementation covered Compensation Management alongside Core HR, Goals, Performance and Talent modules and was executed as a phased rollout across the APAC region. Blackmores configured and launched Fusion to more than 800 users in nine countries, supported by a two-person internal HRM project team.
The program also implemented Taleo Recruitment & Onboarding for ANZ, Thailand and China with system translation, and introduced Mercer International salary banding, automation of the annual salary review, a redesigned competency framework, new-hire onboarding process and talent-mapping methodology. The implementation focused on standardizing and automating core HR and compensation processes across sites; the project delivered reported resource savings and earned industry recognition (ABA100 awards for Change Management and Human Resources Management 2017, and finalist status in the Australian HR Awards 2017 for Best Use of Technology).
