| SAP | Legacy | SAP S/4 HANA | ERP Financial | ERP Financial Management | n/a | 2023 | 2023 |
In 2023 Britvic implemented SAP S/4 HANA as its ERP Financial backbone for finance, procurement and supply chain planning. The engagement aligns Britvic's SAP estate previously running SAP ECC6 toward S/4 HANA architecture and weighed the end of mainstream maintenance timelines, with explicit evaluation of S/4HANA On-Premise, S/4HANA Public Cloud and S/4HANA Private Cloud deployment models to balance control, standardization and extensibility. Project scope targeted core finance functions and related operational domains rather than isolated point solutions.
Configuration work centered on SAP S/4 HANA native finance capabilities, including the Universal Journal as a single source of truth, the merger of CO and FI ledger structures, mandatory Business Partner records and embedded real time analytics on the HANA in memory database. Functional modules and process standardization streams addressed general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, procurement finance controls and master data consolidation, with fit to standard workshops recommended for cloud oriented deliveries. The program explicitly considered Greenfield, Brownfield and Selective Data Transition hybrid approaches to determine which customizations to retain versus redesign.
A Digital Discovery Assessment was instituted as a formal pre migration step, producing an S/4 HANA scoping report that was reviewed by a nominated consultant and presented back with recommended next steps using a three step discovery workflow. Governance planning emphasized mapping the starting technical position, data footprint and timeline constraints to the chosen deployment and implementation approach to protect existing supplier and partner interfaces where required. The implementation narrative focuses on ERP Financial architecture, process simplification, and leveraging S/4 HANA capabilities to consolidate ledgers and enable embedded analytics.

| SAP | Legacy | SAP SuccessFactors Compensation | Compensation Management | HCM | n/a | 2017 | 2018 |
In 2017, Britvic implemented SAP SuccessFactors Compensation as its Compensation Management solution for centralized compensation planning and pay-for-performance workflows. The deployment targeted HR compensation and total rewards processes within Britvic plc and was aligned with broader SAP SuccessFactors and HCM initiatives across the organization.
SAP SuccessFactors Compensation was configured alongside Employee Central, Performance & Goals, Recruiting and Learning modules to support calibrated merit and bonus cycles, compensation statements, and eligibility rules. Implementation work included master data configuration, document generation and email notification setup, and creation of reports using Story Report, Canvas and table report capabilities to support compensation planning and auditability.
Integration and architecture design incorporated SAP HCM and cloud integration tooling, with solution architects documenting data flow, triggering points, data element mapping and test cases. Integration patterns referenced Integration Center and other middleware approaches, and included review of third party cloud application touchpoints such as Ariba and Concur, plus EC linked reporting for LMS, Compensation and Recruitment.
Governance and rollout followed a structured testing and deployment strategy managed in Jira, with prepared test plans, test strategies, unit and integration testing, defined test cycles, entry and exit criteria, quality gates and formal Go/no-Go decision points. The implementation work emphasized GAP analysis, process configuration changes in SuccessFactors and SAP HCM, and operational readiness artifacts to support ongoing compensation administration.

| LabVantage Solutions | Legacy | LabVantage LIMS | Laboratory Management | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2020 | 2020 |
In 2020, Britvic began deploying LabVantage LIMS in a Laboratory Management program to address growing laboratory throughput across operations that process more than 20,000 samples per year. The initial deployment strategy maintained LV LIMS and the LABVANTAGE suite running in parallel while the IT organization performed integration testing and validated the integrity of an imported database to ensure data continuity and system reconciliation.
Configuration work focused on core Laboratory Management capabilities consistent with LIMS implementations, including structured sample lifecycle management, test and assay management, electronic data capture and validation rules, and audit trail reporting for quality and compliance. LABVANTAGE established a standalone, one on one system for training, testing, and prototyping, and delivered face to face training to accelerate user onboarding and confirm configuration against laboratory workflows.
Integrations remain centered on internal IT interfaces, database import pipelines, and operational handoffs into production and development lab functions, with the IT team explicitly executing integration test plans. Operational scope covers Britvic laboratory sites supporting both production quality testing and development laboratories, with configuration aimed at preserving data integrity during parallel operations.
Rollout governance relied on a phased parallel run approach, combining prototyping, one on one training, and formal integration validation to de risk cutover. Britvic is using LabVantage LIMS to enhance the service supplied to its production and development areas and expects the LABVANTAGE suite to provide the scalability required as laboratory demand grows.
