SAP Legacy SAP SuccessFactors Performance and Goals Performance and Goal Management HCM n/a 2013 2013
In 2013, Buckman Laboratories implemented SAP SuccessFactors Performance and Goals to support Performance and Goal Management for its global human resources organization. The deployment was positioned as part of a broader HRIS landscape that includes SAP HCM, SuccessFactors Recruiting, and Ceridian Dayforce for the US and Canada. SAP SuccessFactors Performance and Goals was configured to deliver core performance appraisal workflows, goal setting and tracking, and performance calibration functionality. Configuration responsibilities were owned centrally, with Buckman leading all configuration changes, fixes, and HR systems upgrades for the Performance Management System. Operational integration work connected SAP SuccessFactors Performance and Goals to SAP HCM and SuccessFactors Recruiting, with integrations to and from Ceridian Dayforce for payroll and time data in the US and Canada. The HR systems team worked with vendors' support teams to document bugs, manage workarounds, and coordinate fixes, and collaborated with IT to design, test, and implement functional enhancements and integration points. Support and governance responsibilities included providing system support directly to HR application end-users globally, leading rollout and change management for configuration updates, and owning upgrade processes across the suite of HR tools. This centralized configuration and operational model positioned SAP SuccessFactors Performance and Goals as Buckman Laboratories' primary Performance and Goal Management application within its global HRIS program.
