Configuration work documented included PCR changes and creation of new PCRs, payroll schema changes, Smart PAYE adaptations for ROI, wage type configuration, holiday increment logic, payroll journal and symbolic account GL mappings, a custom national minimum wage solution, valuation basis adjustments, pay scale reclassification, pay period generation, absence valuation and creation of new absence codes and quotas. PA and OM changes comprised new infotypes and infotype fields, action and dynamic action configuration, pay scale and pay range adjustments, hourly rate changes, court order and health scheme maintenance, and holiday calendar updates. Integration and operational coverage emphasized PA to OM integration and payroll posting flows into the general ledger, with data extraction and reporting delivered through SAP Query Manager and SAP standard tools. Data migration and ongoing data maintenance used LSMW objects to load PY, PT, PA and OM data, and minor ABAP and data dictionary changes were applied for targeted fixes and extensions. Operational responsibilities included processing incidents such as time and payroll errors for both UK and Ireland and supporting payroll and HR queries from business stakeholders. Governance and runbook activities were organized around HR shared services and in-house SAP HR analysts, with line management responsibility for functional ownership, formal testing and change tasks, and coordination of yearly statutory updates. Change control focused on functional configuration, testing and maintenance aligned with HR and payroll business needs, with action and dynamic action configuration enforcing workflow sequencing across Personnel Administration and Organisational Management. SAP HCM Personnel Administration remained the central Core HR system for personnel data and payroll-related HR processes.
