Functional elements included structured talent assessments, candidate profiling, and analytics capabilities to segment and prioritize executive talent pools, enabling more consistent application of non-cognitive evaluation criteria across hiring stages.
Operational coverage centered on executive recruitment and internal staffing processes, where human resources and selection panels used Plum outputs to challenge reliance on education and experience alone. Governance changes emphasized incorporation of assessment-derived fit scores into selection decision rules, and the adoption of new evaluation criteria across staffing pipelines to systematically consider diverse talent signals.
As a result, the Department of National Defence (Canada) reported an increase in representation of visible minorities in its executive talent pools and documented four key wins using the Plum Talent Assessment Platform.
