The engagement centered on finance and controlling configuration, with the lead FICO consultant holding a dual role as the primary controlling expert for product costing and profitability analysis. Responsibilities included monthly standard cost calculation and updates in the SAP S/4 HANA system, detailed costing configuration, and configuration of profitability segments in COPA to support management reporting.
Reporting and analytical capability was extended through SAP BW, implemented alongside SAP S/4 HANA and using BEx Query Designer to produce multi dimensional MIS. More than 200 custom specific report layouts were developed inside SAP and BW to support transactional reporting and management decision workflows, aligning SAP S/4 HANA transactional data with multidimensional analysis.
Project governance included organizing business process sessions, reviewing and securing approval of Business Blueprint documents, preparing the overall project plan, and reporting project status, risks and mitigations to a steering committee.
