Oracle Legacy Oracle MICROS Retail Xstore Point-of-Service Point Of Sale ERP Services and Operations n/a 2007 2007
In 2007 Cavenders implemented Oracle MICROS Retail Xstore Point-of-Service as its Point Of Sale platform. The engagement managed the design and implementation of a Micros Xstore Omni-Channel solution to align store transactions and unified commerce capabilities across Cavender's Boot City and Ulta Cosmetics store operations. The Oracle MICROS Retail Xstore Point-of-Service deployment focused on core Point Of Sale capabilities including transaction processing, payment capture, store-associate workflows, promotions and pricing configuration, and offline resilience for continuous sales operations. Implementation activities centered on POS terminal configuration, Xstore store client customization, and configuration of audit and reporting functions to support store-level reconciliation. The Omni-Channel design accounted for standard Point Of Sale integrations and synchronization patterns typical to retail Xstore deployments, including payment routing, catalog and price synchronization, and transaction replication to back-office systems. Operational coverage included store operations, merchandising alignment for pricing and promotions, and finance workflows for sales audit and settlement. Governance and rollout emphasized managed design, phased implementation, and operational readiness across the affected store banners, with training and updated point-of-sale procedures for store teams. The program documented shift-level reconciliation workflows and point-of-sale governance to stabilize operations under the Oracle MICROS Retail Xstore Point-of-Service environment.
