In 2019, Chubb Insurance Australia implemented Oracle PeopleSoft Payables as an AP Automation platform to centralize accounts payable, vendor management, and intercompany non‑trade processing for its Australia finance organization. The rollout targeted Treasury and Accounts Payable teams based in North Sydney, New South Wales, and established Oracle PeopleSoft Payables as the primary system for vendor payment coding, payment allocation, accounting entries, revaluation, settlement, and reconciliation workflows.
Oracle PeopleSoft Payables was configured to support core AP Automation capabilities including vendor verification, vendor master management, invoice coding and matching, payment runs, and balance sheet account reconciliation. The implementation included configuration of delegated authority controls and the administration elements required to manage Travel and Entertainment expense processing in conjunction with the AP ledger.
The deployment integrated operationally with SAP Concur for T&E processing, with explicit maintenance of both PeopleSoft Accounts Payable and SAP Concur modules noted in ongoing operations. Chubb maintained oversight of an outsourced Accounts Payable and T&E execution model through Chubb Business Services, with the PeopleSoft Payables environment serving as the transactional source for intercompany allocations and reconciliation tasks.
Governance changes accompanied the technical deployment, including maintenance of the Delegated and Obligational Authority Register, formalized vendor management and reporting processes, and development of procedures and training materials to support consistent AP processing. The program emphasized partnered monitoring of the outsourced AP and T&E functions to ensure compliance and uninterrupted service delivery, with PeopleSoft Payables acting as the control and accounting backbone for those governance workflows.

In 2019, Chubb Insurance Australia deployed Phenom Talent CRM in the Candidate Relationship Management category and surfaced the solution through Phenom Talent Experience Management on its public careers site. The implementation focused on talent acquisition and employer branding, positioning Phenom Talent CRM to centralize candidate engagement for HR and recruiting teams across the Australian operations.

| Duck Creek Technologies | Legacy | Duck Creek Suite | Insurance ERP | ERP Services and Operations | Capgemini | 2021 | 2021 |
In 2021 Chubb Insurance Australia implemented Duck Creek Suite, an Insurance ERP from Duck Creek Technologies, as part of an APAC-focused program to operationalize core insurance platform capabilities. The engagement was supported by Capgemini and coordinated by a senior release, environment and production deployment manager who led release planning from January 2021 through December 2021. The program managed multiple large and complex production releases across parallel build streams, with explicit ownership for cutover sequencing and production readiness.
Duck Creek Suite was configured to support core insurance functional workflows consistent with Insurance ERP expectations, including policy administration, billing and claims orchestration, while the project emphasis was on release automation and environment stewardship. Continuous integration and continuous delivery processes were orchestrated for regular application code deployments, and environment management practices governed promotion between development, test and production stages. Data migration activities were planned and executed as part of the deployment pipeline, with technical verification and business verification embedded into release gates.
Integration work centered on aligning the Duck Creek Suite release pipeline with environment control and migration workflows, rather than introducing named third party systems. Change governance required formal CAB approvals for cutover plans, and coordination with program PMs and stream leads to finalize run sheets, rollback procedures and backup and restore sequencing. Multiple production dry runs and dress rehearsals including data migration were executed to validate the end-to-end cutover choreography.
Operational governance was formalized through cutover plans and run sheets that defined roles, timeboxed activities and verification checkpoints for each stream, and the senior deployment manager retained responsibility for CI/CD release planning and environment readiness. The project recorded successful production dry runs and rehearsals as explicit achievements, demonstrating repeatable deployment procedures and validated rollback and recovery processes prior to live cutover.
