In 2012, Comptel implemented Microsoft Dynamics AX - HR Onboarding Module as part of a broader consolidation of global finance, project and time reporting, and human resources information. The Onboarding implementation supported Finland and global HR processes and was aligned with a company-wide effort to standardize HR and operational data across approximately 20 locations in EMEA/APAC/NA.
Microsoft Dynamics AX - HR Onboarding Module was configured to centralize new hire data capture, candidate-to-employee record creation, and workflow-driven onboarding tasks, leveraging Dynamics AX HR capabilities to unify master HR data. The deployment coexisted with AX financial and project/time reporting capabilities, enabling consistent personnel and project assignment records for HR and finance workflows.
Efima served as the system integrator on the engagement, implementing a centralized Microsoft Dynamics AX deployment that unified finance, project/time reporting, and HR records within a single application instance. Operational coverage included HR, finance, and project management teams, with regional access from sites in EMEA/APAC/NA and configuration that supported Finland-centric HR requirements alongside global process controls.
Governance was concentrated on process standardization and consolidating HR data models to enforce consistent onboarding procedures and approvals across regions. The consolidated Microsoft Dynamics AX HR Onboarding Module delivered faster consolidation and productivity gains as reported by the source, while enabling standardized onboarding workflows and centralized HR master data for Comptel.
